Tunnel Beach...revisited

We did this walk back in 2006,but I don't remember it being so steep coming back up.Thought I was going to have a heart attack,plus wasn't really dressed for it as it was actually quite hot sheltered from the wind.Clicking on this link Tunnel Beach will give you some idea as to how steep the walk was.

Just back a bit back from where I was standing to take this photo,there was a family having a picnic,they were sheltered between some rocks,not an ideal day for a picnic in my books.

 

A tourist took this photo for us, she said she knew how hard it was to get photos together while out & about.Too much sand flying around to take any more photos down on the sand,plus the tide was coming in.

This photo shows the marks where they have carved out the sandstone near the entrance to the tunnel where we are standing for the photo.
